Springtime Decorating – New Bunnies at SYW

Monday, March 11th, 2013

Searching for decorating ideas for the spring season? There are many ways you can choose to decorate for spring. From florals and lace, to pastel Easter decor, it might be difficult to pick just one theme. Here however, we have one character that is well displayed throughout the next couple months. Take a look at our new Bunny & Rabbit Decor, and see where you can save too, during Sturbridge Yankee Workshop’s Annual Spring Sale, going on now.

Wood Bunny Art An Artistic Approach

Light and dark stained pieces of wood are arranged creatively to form our Wood Bunny Art. Set on pressed board for stability, the solid wood pieces give the illusion of textured rabbit hair. This form of wood inlaying is referred to as ‘wood intarsia,’ which combines natural and varying stained wood, in an almost puzzle-like fashion.

Now during our Annual Spring Sale, customers can save $5 on this artistic wood carving.

Antique Inspiration

Our Bunny Sculptures pictued here to the right, present the appearance of weathered antiques. Distressed and textured due to their paint application, peach, cream and exposed black undertones are seen. Each bunny is posed slightly different to add interest on a mantle or shelf space.

Now during our Annual Spring Sale, this Set of 2 Bunny Sculptures can be purchased for $34.95.

Dancing Rabbits Lamp Add Character with Lighting

Mimicking a cast iron home decorative from the turn of the last century, our Dancing Rabbits Lamp surely is an unexpected table lamp. The base features four ‘dancing’ rabbits with a distressed, rubbed black finish. A neutral, gray cloth, box style shade complements this spring inspired lamp. Our lamp also features a felted bottom, to help protect your table surfaces.

Now during our Annual Spring Sale, customers can save $10 on this whimsical lamp.
