Decorating for Mother’s Day Brunch

Thursday, April 28th, 2016

From lights to lazy susans, you can create a charming setting for the most perfect Mother’s Day brunch. Here are a few of our tips; share yours below in the comments!

We love the idea of a tea party for Mother’s Day. Of course, depending on what mom likes, you can serve champagne, coffee, iced tea or lemonade; tea party decor is just too elegant to go without. Whether you use a tea set of your own or incorporate a set into a gift for your mom, you can go casual or more formal with the tea cups, saucers and tea pot. Don’t forget napkins and a nice tablecloth, too.

LED Green Leaf Brancha

Decorative lights can make a drab space dazzle and delight, and are low maintenance accents so you can set them and forget about them, until your mom comments on how beautiful they look. String lights can be easily hung in a plant, in glass jars or vases or a shelf in the dining room or furniture on a covered porch.

Milk Bottle String Lights

Leaf Branch Lights can fit right in with your centerpiece flowers or enhance a decorative vase on the table or elsewhere in the room, providing light and country charm throughout brunch. Their natural look creates a garden atmosphere as lovely as the brunch guest of honor.

Titian Wine Cabinet

For the food, we recommend using a hutch, a wine cabinet, a console table or simply a small side table to lay out the spread. Use decorative bowls, serving ware and platters in pastel or spring colors to brighten up the space and your main dishes, fruits, snacks and baked goods.

This tiered food stand is perfect if you don’t have a lot of space, or even if you do, and its rustic appearance give it a classic, antiqued look to complement the rest of your decor.

Don’t forget about the flowers! This is the most simple and easiest way to decorate for Mother’s Day brunch. Create bouquets of your mother’s favorite flowers, or opt for faux blooms that will stay fresh throughout the meal. You’re sure to have a beautifully decorative and delicious brunch, which will make this day for mom all the more special.
