Delicate Textiles & Heritage Lace Inc.

Heritage Lace Inc. first began production of European lace in 1975. Based in Pella, Iowa, Heritage Lace Inc. creates beautiful lace textiles for retailers and consumers throughout North America. Developing into a full scale manufacturer and marketer of fine lace over the years, this company prides itself on their unique designs, consistent quality and innovative products. At Sturbridge Yankee Workshop we are happy to say that we have worked with Heritage Lace Inc. consecutively over the last 5 years; continuing to provide us and ultimately provide you with superior sheer lace curtains, table toppers and wall decor, made right here in the USA.

A True Heritage

Heritage Lace offers some beautiful curtain collections that are perfect to display any time of year. The intricate lace designs first begin as an idea that later is sketched by a staff designer. Later transferred into a detailed finished drawing that will be a “work in progress” as it heads further south to Heritage Lace’s North Carolina Mill. The drawing is translated into computer data that will eventually instruct the digital knitting machines to replicate the design and in the end, a finished textile.

To the left we see our Folk Lace Curtain Collection. On these lovely Folk Lace Curtains, the design includes a marvelous forest scene of ferns, birds, rabbits and trees. Another option for a woodland inspired feel, is our Pinecone Lace Curtains. For a woodsy feel in your kitchen, bathroom, or bedroom, our lovely Pinecone Lace Curtains are a fun addition to your rustic or cabin home. Clusters of pinecones accent these pretty and delicate curtains. Both are made from substantial easy care 100% polyester that looks and feels like a heavyweight cotton. Your choice of ecru or white.

Delicate Leaves

During fall harvest and throughout the entire autumn season, decorating with leaves is a must. Heritage Lace Inc. makes it easy with their leafy lace patterns. To the right we see our Leaf Harvest Table Runner. A variety of leaves borders this beautiful lace table accent in a rich goldenrod color. The design detail allows for the veins of the leaves to be exposed; making them appear much more life like. Other leaf table toppers include our Aspen Leaf Placemat and our Maple Leaf Placemat. Offering more color choices in the placemats, these leaves are a perfect way to highlight foliage in the fall. All of these items listed here are exclusive to Sturbridge Yankee Workshop and are also made with an easy care polyester; heavyweight cotton feel.

Pretty Blossoms

The state of the art Heritage Lace Inc. mill in North Carolina is proud to say it is one of the few remaining American producers of fine textiles. The facility is 150,000 square ft. and includes all manufacturing processes that pertain to the completion of a product; everything from yarn preparation to shipping is done here. If there is a particular item that needs any additional cutting or sewing, it is hand finished by employees at the facility in Pella. Both locations operate to the strictest quality and environmental standards.

If you’re looking for a light and airy new window treatment, then consider our Blossom Sheer Lace Curtain Collection. With teeny tiny blooming blossom flowers bordering the edges, they just barely reach the center. The swag, valance and tiers are complete with a large scalloped bottom that replicates the petals of a flower. Intricate loops for a unique weaving pattern, set for a perfect placement of the curtain rod. Mirroring the same design is our Blossom Lace Table Topper, shown here to the left. The table topper’s beautiful design draws your eye towards the center due to the patterns circular focus. Perfect accent for a small kitchen or breakfast table. Both the curtain collection and the table topper come in your choice of ecru or white.

Thank You Heritage Lace Inc. for your family owned, quality driven, service oriented commitment over the years!
