Weekly Spotlight: Shop Our Holiday Cover(s)

Wednesday, October 18th, 2017

By now our first two Holiday catalogs have reached you, and we hope you’ve enjoyed browsing our new home accents to get ready for the holiday season. Today, we are spotlighting our first two covers and the five items taking up this impressionable space.

Harvest / Fall / Thanksgiving

Tom & Goody Gobbler are back this year, in their same whimsical spirit and cheerful colors. Designed by artist Lori Mitchell, Tom & Goody are welcome (re)additions to our selection of collectibles.

◊ The Maple Leaves & Berries Wreath is a new addition to our all-natural selection of greenery, featuring a half-exposed grapevine base for an even more natural look on a wall or door this autumn.

Winter / Holiday / Christmas

◊ These glass accent lights are becoming a customer favorite, and it is easy to see why. The decorative element paired with a source of light makes it a sight to behold day or night. The SYW exclusive Snowy Drive Accent Light on the cover features a vintage red truck hauling an evergreen tree towards home; the snowy imagery is quite realistic.

◊ Also featured are two 18″H Lighted Feather Trees, which have bendable branches and burlap bases. These are perfect for decorating a table, bench or other surface of your home during the holidays, and as they come pre-lit, there are no tangled string lights to deal with (more sizes available).

◊ Finally, decorating the trees are Glass Ball Ornaments, which come as a set of twelve. Inspired by vintage ornaments, these crackled mercury glass renditions in silver, gold, red and green are perfect for decorating your tree in holiday cheer.

Weekly Spotlight: New Braided Jute Home Accents

Wednesday, October 4th, 2017

Cranberry Jute Braided Table Runner | Artist Harry SmithCranberry Jute Braided BasketWelcome to our first October Spotlight. On the agenda: braided jute! Below we are featuring our newest jute home accents that will cover your chairs, tabletops, counters, floors and other areas of your home this holiday season and throughout the year. To showcase them all, we’re breaking from our usual five format and including each new piece.

If you are already acquainted with our Cranberry Jute Collection, you’ll be delighted to know that we’ve added Baskets and a Floor Runner to the mix for even more complementary style. All of these pieces feature a design by Maine artist Harry Smith, and are perfect for holiday decorating or for incorporating a little color into your home all year long.

Autumn Jute Chair Pad | Artist Sandy Clough

To coordinate with our vibrant Autumn Jute Rug by artist Sandy Clough, we’ve introduced the Autumn Jute Chair Pad to bring a touch of fall into your dining areas as well as the other rooms of your home. A mixture of warm colors with bright green and teal make this jute accent electrify your country chairs with seasonal appeal.

Also from Sandy Clough is the Chickadee & Pine Jute Collection. In addition to the Chair Pad and Tabletop Accents, we now offer a beautiful Area Rug. This Collection is perfect for a log cabin, lodge or woodland-inspired home, and we’ll admit our partiality to it since it features the Maine state bird and part of the Maine state tree.

Last but certainly not least (and also by artist Sandy Clough), is our new braided jute collection. The Holly Jute home accents feature green and burgundy braids circling a full sprig of holly leaves and berries. An Area Rug made for your floors; a Chair Pad for your dining room; and a Trivet for serving hot dishes in the kitchen or adding a holiday look to a table; all three make great statement pieces and create a cheerful atmosphere when used all together.

Weekly Spotlight: Autumn Tabletop Accents

Wednesday, September 27th, 2017

As we move from September to October we’re bringing out more pumpkins, leaves and harvest decor to fully celebrate the season. One of the best ways to add fall charm to your home is with festive place settings and tabletop accents. Take a look below at some of our assortment, and view more (for all seasons) here.

Placemat and Table Runner Pairs

Along with many other new decor in our Holiday 2017 catalog are placemat and table runner pairs that make decorating a complementary table easy. You’ve seen our linen-like polyester placemats and runners before, and this season we’re introducing the Autumn Harvest and Autumn Maple & Butterfly designs. The Paprika Autumn Lace is also crafted from easy-care polyester (making holiday cleanup oh-so-simple), and both pieces feature a vibrant paprika color that is made elegant with oak leaves and acorns. When you shop our Holiday catalog, you can get free shipping on all three of these collections!

The Magic of Melamine

Harvest Melamine Dinnerware

Our Harvest Melamine Dinnerware made its first appearance in our Fall 2017 catalog for good reason. Melamine’s durability and functionality make these bowls and plates perfect for entertaining a large group of family and friends, a rambunctious group of kids, as well as your immediate family during normal mealtime. They are dishwasher safe and shatterproof, and have we mentioned the warm orange finish that is ideal for autumn?

Crow & Pumpkin Braided Jute Trivet

We would not be true to ourselves if we did not mention a braided jute tabletop accent, and this particular trivet combines country crows with plump pumpkins for a welcoming harvest accent. Use it to protect tabletop and countertop surfaces from hot dishes and plates, or simply lay out to accent autumn collectibles and decor.
