  1. In a large bowl, add brown sugar, butter, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt. Using an electric mixer, beat until fully blended and smooth.
  2. Add the rum and cups of boiling water; stir until the butter mixture dissolves.
  3. Divide the buttered rum among 4 mugs. Garnish with the cinnamon sticks and serve.
