We are excited for spring to begin (02/23), so today we are featuring four of our favorite past DIY posts that all have something to do with spring. Take a look below, and tell us about the DIY projects you’ll be taking on once the snow melts and the days get longer!
DIY Flower Arrangements
No matter the occasion, spring flower arrangements are some of our favorites because here in Maine, that typically means we can create them with fresh flowers straight from our own gardens. For arrangements and bouquets that last all spring without any maintenance, however, we are big advocates for using faux florals. Last year we did a three part series on how to create decorative and expressive flower arrangements in your home using some of our containers and flower stems, which you can read by clicking here.
DIY Fairy Garden
We introduced some fairy garden characters and accessories last summer, and for inspiration we compiled a short list of fairy garden DIY projects requiring a range of materials and space. Check out that post here, and make a fairy garden part of your spring landscaping.
St. Patrick’s Day and Easter
We know you’ll be bringing out the shamrocks for March 17th and dyeing Easter eggs for April 1st (no joke), so why not complement your centerpieces, wreaths and collectibles with a shamrock banner, and go all-natural with DIY dyes?
We hope you’re just as excited for spring as we are, and if you’re not, hopefully these DIY ideas spark your enthusiasm! Be sure to follow us here on the blog (and on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest) for more decor ideas throughout the spring.
