Mitten Memories

Bundling up to go play outside is almost as enticing as taking off snowy boots, mittens and hats after an afternoon and warming up with hot chocolate under a blanket. This Wrought Iron Mitten and Boot Dryer Stand is a must-have winter accessory for those activity filled afternoons and their aftermath. Place boots or mittens and hats on each tier to dry until you need them again. These may be cold days, but the memories being made are warm.

Skating Snow GirlSkates and Sleds

Backyard ponds, community rinks or even a town lake offer the best places to do some ice skating by yourself or with friends. Skating Snow Girl celebrates the fun of ice skating, and also reminds us to build a snowman or two this winter! Building snowmen and snowwomen may not be on the townspeople’s minds in Sharon Ascherl’s new print, but sledding sure is! On days when it’s too cold or snow cover has dwindled, use this whimsical Sleigh Checkers Game Board and have a family game night instead.

What are your favorite snow day or winter activities? Have you continued any seasonal traditions with your kids, like family game night, snow fort building or others?

Share your fun with us and have a safe and happy winter season!
