Thursday’s Theme: St. Patrick’s Day

Most of St. Patrick’s Day decor is pretty versatile, in that you can incorporate your spring decor into it, and especially anything green. Other St. Patrick’s Day themes include shamrocks, pots of gold, and cheery displays – and we have suggestions for you based on these themes for showing your spirit on March 17th, whether you choose to DIY or make some lucky decor investments.

Shamrock Decorative

Any floral arrangement that incorporates natural elements, with green being the dominant color, is a more classic decorating technique for this holiday. This includes (but is not limited to!) bouquets, wreaths, garland, or even images and prints of flowers in different shades of green or among green grass.

But, if you’re looking for a little more sparkle, decorations like this green shamrock can be found in many craft stores at any budget – and it looks great in a window or on a plain wall.

Green RibbonIf you’re more of a minimalist decorator, simple green ribbon can be used to tie back curtains, decorate a glass vase of flowers, or be used for anything ¬†else within your decorative imagination!

Luck of the Irish Printout

Finally, printouts are always a good (and easy!) idea for holiday decorating. This 5 x 7 can go in any frame of your choosing, or, create your own printout to fit that favorite picture frame in your living room. Place next to flowers or other St. Patrick’s Day decor for a complete look.

Did you use any of our suggestions? We’d love to know how you’ve decorated!
