You Will Need
2 tsp shallots
1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbs butter
2 tsp minced garlic
1 Tbs fresh rosemary or 1/2 Tbs dried rosemary
1/4 tsp red chili pepper flakes
1/2 C red wine
1/2 C Maine Maple Syrup
salt and pepper to taste
Heat butter and oil in saucepan over medium heat.
Add shallots, garlic, rosemary, and chili flakes.
Saute until shallots turn translucent.
Whisk in wine and syrup until blended.
Sale and pepper to taste.
Allow to cool.
Or, you can always drizzle it over pancakes.
